League Structure
This league is an 18 hole league that runs from the beginning of November through the end of March. Please check the schedule for exact days. The league starts at 5:30pm and driving range time is available from 5pm-5:30pm. There is one team per simulator on Sunday & Monday nights, and two teams per simulator on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday nights.
Each day is its own league, so if you sign up for Tuesday's evening league, you will play every Tuesday evening and will only be playing against other teams on Tuesday evenings. The cost for the league is $680 per player and is split into two $340 payments. The first payment is due upon sign up, and the second payment is due January 15th.
SECTION 02
League Format
The format for our leagues are two person teams. Each team will play another team in a 2v2 combined score handicapped match-play match. This means that each player in a team will have a handicap, and when you combine them, this is your team handicap. So if team A’s handicap is 10, and Team B’s handicap is 20, Team A will be giving Team B an extra stroke on the 10 hardest holes. Each hole, the winning team will receive 1 point and the losing team will receive 0 points. If you tie the hole, each team will receive 0.5 points. There is also a point available on the front nine and back nine for lowest combined team score with your team handicap. This means there are 20 points available for each night. After you finish, the total of all your points for the night will be added to the leaderboard. For example, if Team A scores 13 points and Team B scores 7 points, Team A doesn’t “win”. Their respective 13 and 7 points are added to their teams total score for the season.
SECTION 03
Playoffs and Championship
This year we are switching to a 5 week playoff structure. This means that while the regular season is useful for gaining seeding, every team will have a place in the final bracket to try to win it all. The bracket will depend on the amount of teams in the league, so it will be unveiled as we get closer to the season.
SECTION 04
What if I can't make a league night?
If you can not make it to leagues on one of the days, you may Pre-Golf for your missed round. This means you can come in Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm to golf the round you will be missing. Make up’s outside of these times will not be accepted. If you cannot Pre-Golf and miss a round, you are given a “ghost score”. The ghost score has a handicap of 0 and will always shoot a 10 over 82. You will receive points from the ghost score but it will not change your handicap.
